Actualy Val it was incomplete, we didnt have any belts or belt mechanism motors on it and nothing was tightened down, I think we even took a few axles off, you could NOT have run that robot other than driving it around and moving the "trap door" up and down.

But Im glad to see the Larry encouragement in here! 6 weeks is an insanely short period of time, and things will get done, they always do! Being a leader is often the least fun of the positions, but a step back and looking at the big picture always helps Its for the KIDS!!!

Ummm. I think to the mechanical team a robot that doesn't work well is considered an incomplete robot. And the drive team would much rather have a robot to practice with on practice day, than one that was sitting in the pits getting "improved."

We didn't ship an incomplete robot last year - it was complete, it just didn't work well! (And we didn't have time before the shipping deadline to fix it so that it WOULD work well - that's why we spent the whole first day of competition in the pits!)

The funniest thing was that the construction workers were doing something that made loud pounding noises, which sounded like they were coming from inside the zip-tied lockers! "Let me out, let met out!"
