Hello Fellow Team Leaders!

Team 578 is putting together a really fun event and we would love to have your teams participate!

It is called "Robotics Relay for a Reason" and it is similar to a Relay for Life event where there is a walking track and a person from every team must be walking at all times for the duration of the event. Here are a few quick details:

1.  It takes place on June 10th from 10:30 pm until 6:00 am at Martha Brown Middle School in Fairport.

2.  There is a $10/person registration fee with all proceeds going directly to Camp Good Days summer camp program. There are sponsorship forms for your team members if they would like to raise additional funds for Camp Good Days.

3.  Teams are made up of robotics team members and adults (1 adult/5 students) who are in attendance for the duration of the event. We want to emphasize to parents that this event will be well supervised and is not a drop and go event so we need adults to participate as well!

4.   We will provide pizza at midnight, events throughout the evening/morning, breakfast in the morning.

5.   We will be walking outside but do have the school gym if it rains and for the use of the restrooms.

6.   If you choose to participate, our district requires that each person has a permission slip (attached) as well as an insurance rider for the event that covers the students in case of injury, etc.

This should be a really fun event and we hope that it will continue for a long time & grow into something big! We also sell kazoos for Camp Good Days during Christmas at the mall so they are close to our hearts!

Please let me know if you are interested in participating. My team is really excited and hopes that you will join us. They have already build carnival games and bought glow-sticks for the event! Let me know if you are in or if you have any questions.
