New Scholarship Opportunity:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is a wonderful scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors on FIRST Robotics or FIRST Tech Challenge Teams.  Please pass this along to anyone who maybe interested.
FIRST and the University of South Carolina (USC) College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) have established a Deanís Scholarship to benefit deserving students who have participated on a FIRST team for at least two years during their high school years and who would like to attend the USC. The student may enroll in any one of the six engineering or computing disciplines offered in the College of Engineering and Computing at the USC.  Ten (10) USC CEC FIRST Scholarships are being offered to deserving and qualified high school seniors for the 2007-2008 FIRST Competition season.
Attached is a more detailed description of the FIRST Scholarship as well as the scholarship application.
The application deadline is February 15, 2008. For more information about an admissions application package and the University of South Carolina (USC) College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) FIRST Scholarship, please contact: Jennifer Illian at « e-mail redacted » or Donn Griffith at « e-mail redacted ».
