Open For Signup
Do more FLL Recruiting – indirect
High School News Paper Story/Ad
Get license plate covers on all team member cars
Give Team Members Trifolds & Pens to give out
Team Gear in School Bookstore/not exactly uniform items
Hand out fliers/Run Robots at Lunches
Posters at YMCA/Library/Local Areas/Starbucks/Harris
Penfield Post / Democrat & Chronicle Articles
Free game nights
Booth at Sponsors/Home Depot/ EastviewMall/etc
More Team events open to the school (Maize Maze, etc)
Advertise on the district website
Get Email Addresses – send out silly notes from students
Phone Tree
Hand out Candy with Team Logo on it

General Ideas/Things Easily Implemented
Make an Achievement to recruit a new team member
Bring a friend to Robotics Team Meeting
9th Grade/New Student Orientation – Have a table in the gym (pass out pens/trifolds)
Wear Shirts/Uniform on Tuesdays
Promote Scholarships – especially to parents
Advertise differently in different classes
Promote: “Doing stuff you like, with friends”
Emphasize Time Commitment is up to you

Because I was curious if it was easy to get them printed, I looked up the "lawn signs" (so I guess technically Im helping Alex :))

Pricing is actually reasonable, I would say we want to get somewhere around 20.  Here are just a few places...

I have put the recruitment full-page ad in the August & September 2009 PHS Observer newsletter.  I have also put an ad on E-News RE: the student info sessions.
