2011 Button idea
« on: January 15, 2011, 10:08:23 AM »

I have this thought in my head and needed to get it out.
I was thinking about the Ubertube and life preserver came to my head. Then I was thinking about US FIRST and how it was close to S.S. First (like a ship).
Then this poped into my head (this is a rough, but should convey the idea).

I need to make a Penguin button for Peter. Don't let me forget, Mr. Byers!

Cute idea... although technically it is no longer U.S. FIRST... it was years ago, when the competition was founded in the United States, but as it has now spread internationally (remember our Boston partners from Brazil? or the tons of international teams at Champs?), so they removed the "US" at the same time they changed it from Nationals to Championships.  They did end up keeping the domain name, probably just because it was already embedded so many places and not worth changing.

I think you could get away with it if you just did S.S. FIRST... it almost looks like a button we could use for Safety, so come up with something that is Smart Safety FIRST, or something like that that it could stand for and it would be cool!
