1511 Team Goals

Team Goals & Specific Ways to Achieve Them:

1. Develop Student Leadership
- Leadership Bootcamp
- Leadership Team & Subteam Leaders = Students
- Have Students Create a Business Plan
- Have an annonymous suggestion box
- Give Teammembers more responsibilities
- Individual Development Plans
- Encourage Students to Lead Thunderbolts
- Buddy Program with New Students
- Review Last Year's Feedback & Work to Improve It
- Follow up on activities being organized by students
- Appropriate Delegation

2. FLL Focus & Development In Rochester
- FLL Subteam
- FLL Camps, Coach Training
- Harris Involvement
- Increase 1511 Involvement - Student Requirement
- Support Kickoff & Tournament, Host Rumble
- Future Rochester FLL Committee?
- Assist teams with Funding
- Have FLL Fliers at All 1511 Demos
- Arrange more FLL Demos
- Get/Train more Master Mentors
- Organize Teams
- Contact Schools that Donít have FLL
- FLL Page on our Website

3. Community Involvement & 1511 Thunderbolts
- Keep Track of Thunderbolts (create list from Rookie year)
- Activity Coordinator Position
- Fliers around town
- Newspaper Ads
- More community events planned ahead (possibly weekly)
- Requirements & Focus on getting them finished early!!
- Tie in with more sponsors
- Develop a 5 Year Plan
- Write down how many people we affect at each Demo
- Photos from Every Event - required for credit
- Spread out our activities to different places/locations
- Get Community More Involved
- Ask Town Hall if we can volunteer for anything

4. Organization & Communication
- Specific Schedules & Time Management
- Preseason, Build Season, Offseason goals & priorities
- Restructure Subteams & help set specific goals
- Back up plans of things to do in Build Season
- Link to our site from School Website
- Biweekly Subteam Reports/meetings
- Leadership Meetings on a separate day from Team Meeting & 5:30 prep for Team Meeting
- Update Team Handbook

- Increased Communication with Sponsors

We are working on updating these for this year.  The current list is attached, we got through "removing" all the unnecessary or old ideas, and are over halfway through adding new ideas.
