Our night started at six with a delicious dinner provided by JP and his family! We enjoyed meatball subs and a beautiful fruit-salad (fruit salad, yummy, yummy!) Thanks! While munching, Team Leader Larry went over a few short announcements and mentioned that due to yesterday’s snow in, we have a scheduled session tomorrow from six to midnight! Deadlines for “mock” designs are set, and we have already seen progress on electrical, mini-bot AND drive-train!
For sure, we’re hoping that this momentum will stay up to speed! About halfway through the night Mentor Larry fought with the copier! Larry came out victorious! Larry 1 copier 0. Mechanical was able to prototype a partial minibot tonight. This was a huge accomplishment because they did it before Mike Mo had to leave which never happens! The field team went shopping and came “home” with tons of new stuff for them to play/build a field with. Jason was elated! Each team was hard at work! Electrical got their crimp going on and the controls team asked around to find out what the team would like the controls to look like this year. Electrical main built a mock electrical board because “Alex R. is awesome!” We can’t wait for our 6pm to midnight session tomorrow!
