During week two, everyone began hopping off to do their own things. Controls began to design our control box with a fun idea: a dive camera! Game piece decided to go for an elevator mechanism, and decided to design a grabber and wrist mechanism, and attach them with the elevator to the drive base. Meanwhile, cage came up with ideas for the stop mechanism and worked on a cad model for the lever hang. Drive base managed to complete the alpha bot to give to the programmers, and they also designed the swerve belly pan alongside analyzing the bumpers. Electrical measured PWM cable for the elevator, and looked at magnetic switches, also for the elevator. They also discussed sensors for the game pieces. Programming was busy fixing swerve and updating the odometry. (Coder cat also helped.) Mechanical worked on the Calgae mechanism, and lasered and assembled a base for the design. Marketing was busy with social media updates and creating fun events for the team. We had a busy week at robotics, go 1511!
