Tonight’s entry is a summary of the various sub-team’s activities for the night!
The Stylin’ Shooter Subteam
-Our shooter’s disk storage system is being inserted into Autodesk
-The storage design is based on a single plate with dividing fences for the sake of simplicity
The Creative Climber Subteam
-Integrating design with the Drive Train and Shooter subteams
The Devastatingly Cool Drive Train Subteam
-A detailed frame for the Drive Train is in our autodesk files and being used by the other subteams.
The Masterful Mechanical Subteam
-Honing Skills for when the other teams finish the design stage
-First stages of manufacturing the drivetrain frame
The Perfect Programming Subteam
-Several tests with aiming and trajectories were performed
-Andy and other mentors are working on making the drivetrain drive correctly
The Fantastic Field Subteam
-All field elements except the Pyramids are completed
The L33t Leadership Subteam
-Planned exciting activities so as a “Ninja Day” where everyone would dress up in black
The Cool Control Subteam
-Control is still designing the controls
-Fine details such as the use of straps and hinges are being discussed
